It was suggested at our first website meeting that if we could get together enough interested "web geeks" from our building, we could entertain creating a custom website for ourselves.
Sound interesting? You don't have to be an expert—an interest and some time is all you need. We will help each other learn what we need to do. Things like:
- Work out design ideas
- Participate in non-technical maintenance
- Familiarize yourself with new software applications
- Envision and execute new functionality
- Support underlying technology

How is the founding of Floor Captains going? I think they may be the perfect way to survey our building for people interested in this.

Dave, got your email and saw your call for geeks. I sent out an email about getting floor captains and plan to meet this sunday feb. 18 @ 7pm. if you want i can also ask them if they know anyone who may be interested in helping with the website.

There's a Website meeting the day after your Floor Captain meeting. We'd like to get a report back from you regarding website volunteers. If you could make the meeting, that'd be great. We can put you at the top of the agenda so you can leave early if you want. Otherwise, I'll catch up with you before our meeting and proxy your report.
Or, I guess I could just attend your meeting instead! Which would you rather?

floor captain meeting
sorry about not replying. I keep forgetting to use this new website! i may have to reschedule the meeting due to only one person coming! I did send out info about looking for web geeks and still no response. would love it if you could attend the floor capt. meeting and give a quick overview of what you are looking for! will let you know about a new date. looking at NEXT sunday at 7pm.
