620 Peachtree News for the Week of November 15, 2007
For those who missed it, here are the highlights:
Our front desk personnel remind us to be extra careful during the holiday season. Thefts and other incidents tend to go up during this period.
A Renter Cap committee is forming to formulate strategy for amending the by-laws to limit the percentage of units that may be rented. Interested homeowners should contact Howard Woodard, through the Management Office, to participate in the planning.
A lot of questions were asked about the progress of the Exterior Renovations. The gist of it all is that our primary contractor has changed (the former sub-contractor is now the prime contractor) and the work may be complete by the end of the year. So sorry, but balconies must still be kept clear.
Our Annual Meeting is set for Wednesday December 12, in the evening, most likely at North Avenue Presbyterian Church. Everyone will be receiving a packet with the new budget and a proxy to use if you cannot attend.
Our new management firm, Team Management LCC, began work as of November 1.
Our on-site manager is Ann Dover -- please drop in if you can to welcome her. Her office hours are 10 am to 6 pm Monday thru Friday. To contact her use the same methods as before:
If you have been paying your Association fees using the on-line system to SmartStreet, do not continue to do so. A new on-line fee payment mechanism will be worked out but until then fees should be paid using the pre-addressed envelopes you should have received in late October (if you didn't get any contact Ann).
Our Board of Directors consists of:
The two members marked with a star are going off the Board this year. A Nominations Committee has been formed to review resumes for new members -- the election will be held during the Annual Meeting. To submit your resume, send it via email or fax to the Management Office.
The minutes of the September Board meeting are posted on our web site at 620peachtree.org. If you don't have a user name and password yet, please use the sign-up facility there to do so.
The best way to contact the Board is to email Ann -- she will forward your message to the appropriate person and let you know when she has done so.
Please make it as easy as possible for the service personnel to do this work. Move furniture away from wall-mounted units. In the Studio units, please clear the closet area in front and below the units.
